Rick Hinderer began making art blades and later designing for other major knife brands before opening a shop of his own in 2005. Rick Hinderer Knives are made at “The Ranch” in Shreve, Ohio. It is a state-of-the-art production facility with CNC mills, lathes, and grinders for a streamlined manufacturing process.
